this and that…

hi everyone! today’s post is a little bit of this and that.  we’ve been busy with house remodeling, and cleaning up the garden, and I haven’t had a lot of time this month to leave comments, but, I’m trying to keep up with reading posts:)

first, if you like homegoods, and who doesn’t:)-- courtney from french country cottage is hosting a fun contest this week for homegoods.  and you only have until sunday, so, hurry over and link up your entry!  the prize is a $250 homegoods gift card for each --facebook, instagram and twitter!

this pic is my entry.  last month I showed this homegoods cloche in my great room, now, it’s outside, on my potting bench, in the garden.

the pic below shows some of our projects we’ve been working on.  the window on the left is one of the windows, my husband and I installed recently.  the new patio doors replaced a small window.  (if you ever install doors like these—get some extra people to help, cuz, they are heavy!)  and bailey is modeling the new deck that we finished last week.

here’s the deck looking out from the new doors.  I haven’t had time to really decorate it yet.  we have one of those metal framed canopies on it, for shade-(from target), a couple chairs, and a table for working on projects and snacking.

this next pic doesn’t look like much yet, but, it’s my favorite, because soon, it will be my new 10 x 10 garden shed!

this is the last shed my husband built for me, it was only 4 x 6, but, I loved it.
