vintage junk comes in many different shapes and sizes. I spent some time in my craft room stamping on some gift bags. I like to keep a supply of them on hand and these are perfect for gift card giving.
two more examples of vintage junk--this french sofa. I’m hoping to recover this… it might take me awhile to get it done, but, I’ll show you the results—good or bad:)
and this cute french provincial buffet just needs painted. I think it’s a broyhill piece, and, it might be missing a hutch.
today’s beautiful blog is pureshabby!
enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Wow, that sofa is beyond gorgeous!! I can't wait to see what you have in store for it :)
ReplyDeleteYour gift bags are adorable!! And that French sofa is awesome!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it doesn't look so good close-up, but I love the sofa as it is! I actually bought a sofa and chair just like it (in REALLY bad shape) for $50 about 25 years ago, but the cost of recovering was just too high, so I had to get rid of them. Now I wish I had them back!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the finished pieces! I know they'll be fabulous. :)
Love the stamp you used on that gift bag, Lynn! What great furniture pieces! That sofa is something. Can't wait to see what you do with both of them!
ReplyDeleteYour stamping is adorable and I'm so excited about your sofa. That is beautiful! Many years ago when I was just in my early 20's, we got one of those that was destined for the trash. We tore it apart and were going to redo it, but alas it got hard and life got busy. How I wish I had that thing now! What color will it be? Can't wait to see the outcome!
