faux rusty candelabra...

hi everyone!  i thought i'd share a quick and easy idea today.

this candelabra -(a junk store xmas present)- had a shiny brass finish, but, after a quick coat of brown craft paint, it now has a rusty look.  all i had to do was drape some crystals on it.

here's a close up.  you can see the gold peeking through the brown paint.

and when i'm done with this look...i'll spray paint  it white!

***i find so many wonderful, and creative blogs each day.  so, as part of my new year's resolution, at the end of each of my posts, i  want to add a link to a great blog that you might not know about:)

today's charming  blog is- JUNK CHIC COTTAGE!
