hi everyone! i just learned how to do a mouse roll over effect for my before and after pictures. its kind of a nice look, and i thought i'd share it with you.
it takes some extra time to set up on your post, so, i probably won't do it a lot. i mainly wanted to do it on my post coming up for the "where bloggers create".
below is the "after" picture of my great room. just roll your mouse over the picture and it changes to the "before" picture. (hopefully, i did it right:)
to do this, i followed the tutorial here. its' well written, and i didn't have any trouble following the instructions. this site has tons of tutorials for spicing up your blog:)
sharing with stonegable's tutorials, tips, and tidbits. you might want to share with yvonne, she is having a wonderful give away! and check out her painted baskets, too!
have a great weekend and thanks for looking!

WELL DONE!!!

ReplyDeleteWow!! Awesome blog effect!! LOVE your new room. It's so welcoming and shabby sweet:)
ReplyDeleteWowza! Gorgeous. The before is great but then when you see the after, even better...such a fun feature. The larger, darker elements like the wreath and the frame on the left really finish off your room. I love it!

Looked beautiful before, but more beautiful after, I love your shabby chic style!
ReplyDeleteIt worked and I like to go back and forth to see what changed. Like the change.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteReally like the redo and love the star cutout fence fireplace cover in the before pic.
You did it! I can roll over it with my finger on my Kindle Fire! Thought you'd want to know! So lovely! I'm pinning it and stealing your window treatment! (If it's ok) We have the same kind of window and I've shamefully done nothing with it. It does get late sun, so in Summer we hang a blanket over it. I know...terrible. What would I do without inspiration like yours? Thank you, thank you!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! And I LOVE the changes you made in your room, Lynn, with all that great architectural stuff!!
