I would love to find an old gothic window, but, after years of looking, I’m just as happy with my 4.5’ mirror--a xmas gift from my son.
I removed the mirror and painted the frame white. it’s heavy, so I put it on a table, and added my urn of flowers. the gothic shaped mirror won’t go to waste. my husband is making a simple frame for it, so I’ll end up with two gothic pieces from this one gift. makes the price seem not so bad.
thanks for looking and have a great week!

I love it! I love the paint job. 8^)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty...I love the heighth it adds!
ReplyDeleteI love that! I also love where you placed it, so it mirrors the window shape. MY Hobby Lobby never has cool stuff like that! ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty an so sweet that your son got that for you. I love what you did to the frame and I still say your hubby is one of the handiest men around. :)

Super Cute! Such a great place to put it! Good Choice!
ReplyDeleteLove this frame. Gorgeous! I love to find sale items at Hobby Lobby. :)
ReplyDeleteoh wow! Beaufitul
ReplyDeleteIt's the perfect fit for above that cute little cabinet. The closest Hobby Lobby is about 6 or 7 hours away from us, so I haven't had the chance to do more than a quick run through the store (with my husband impatiently waiting in the car). By the looks of that window, they have some pretty cool stuff!
ReplyDeleteStunning! Truly stunning! I want you to come do my house next :)
ReplyDeleteThat frame is just perfect with your table Lynn!! So sweet of your son to buy this for you :o)
ReplyDeletePerfect addition to that space over the table! Fabulous find!

I just saw this piece at Hobby Lobby and thought about doing the same thing. I just didn't have a place to hang it. Yours looks wonderful and so pretty above the table. xo, Sherry
ReplyDeleteLooks great. Amazing what a little paint can do!
ReplyDeleteLove what you did with the frame Lynn. It blends in so beautifully with your decor.
ReplyDeleteOh Lynn it's fabulous! It is even more special since your son gave it to you. I still have a wine rack my son gave me many years ago, I cherish it because it was his first big boy present! I can't wait to see what the handyman does with the mirror!

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome transformation Lynn! TFS
ReplyDeleteLynn, this is GORGEOUS! Those bright colors from the flowers look so great in front of the white frame. I'm glad you are able to get two projects out of this one mirror (hooray for handy husbands!).
