my house is small, and my dining room is open to the living and kitchen, but, it’s small. so, I put a skinny woodland type tree in one of my old water cans, and decorated it with burlap bags, tags, and paper banners for the garland.
close up…
it sits on an old cabinet with cool rounded corners, curvy bottom and cute little legs. when I found this cabinet at a resale store, it was dirty, dark brown and horribly scratched up. I scrubbed it up and dry brushed some white paint on it. this sweet cabinet is one of my favorites, that I’ve had for about 10 years. my friend thinks it was a radio cabinet in its younger life.
thanks so much for looking today:)

ReplyDeleteYou have the most creatively ingenious ideas, Lynn. And it's just so darn shabby cute too! The tree becomes a focal point in the room without taking up too much space. I'm so stealing this idea. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your tree! I use 3 sizes of those same type trees. I've got one standing in a bucket, waiting to be decorated.
